Feeling Better?

I was feeling quite low after last weekend. Not miserable, as such, just low in energy and lacking in motivation - which is very unusual for me.

I've been seeing an osteopath for a while, now, for help with back and knee injuries from when I was ill last year. He's lovely, and always wants to know how I am in general, as well as how the musculo-skeletal problems are progressing. I had a treatment this week, and moaned a bit about how I'd been feeling droopy and lacklustre. He remarked, at the end of the treatment, that he expected my energy would rise as a result.

It did. I woke up the next morning with my brain buzzing with ideas that proliferated in all directions. I could barely keep up with myself.

I would have been very pleased about this, if it hadn't been 2 am.

So funny. Isn't it typical that inspiration/energy strike at the worst time.

I could do with some energy coming my way today. Am feeling rather blurgh. Maybe a cup of tea will perk me up.

OMG. That's such a bad time of the night for me... so hard to get back off again.

I hope you wrote down all the brilliant ideas, and fell back to sleep soon after.

It's no fun waking up at that time in the morning and then not being able to get back to sleep!! I hope you have a notepad by the bed...

Glad your feeling better

2am? No, that's really not the right time for thoughts. Or anything really. Even chocolate.

Can you not get a butler to transcribe your marvelous thoughts while you chortle on a chaise longue?

You should have emailed - I'm often up about then! Great time of day for sorting out outstanding letters etc, but no good for writing for me. And not so great when hubby wants to know why I'm 'still in bed' at 7.30, when I only went back to bed at 6!

Hope your energy bursts continue, but with a new clock.

Ideas aren't very disciplined are they? I've had lots over the last few days - with all the mind altering drugs etc! Don't think there's much chance of remembering any of them though.

Debs, yes, typical.
JJ, I got up and wrote stuff in the end.
Carol, I can't write by hand, I'm too keyboard-dependent.
Tam, I am!
Karen, yes, typical.
Spiral, I wish!
Bernadette, really? I'll remember that.
Helen, ah yes, drug-fuelled ideas, that's what all my SAF stories were made of in autumn of last year!
